WHAT'S ON OUR MIND

This is URGENT

May 26th, 2026

Two Democratic primaries are about to determine whether pro-Israel voices have a future in Congress. We are not spectators in this fight. We are the fight.

Candidate Johnny Garcia (TX-35)

Pro-Israel Democrat Johnny Garcia is running for an open seat against Maureen Galindo. Galindo has gained prominence in the news and on social media for promoting a range of conspiracy theories about Jews and Israel.

The election is THIS Tuesday.

It’s not too late. DONATE to help Johnny in his last-minute fight to win.

This is not a policy disagreement. This is not a candidate who is merely skeptical of Israel. Maureen Galindo is an open, unapologetic antisemite, and she could very well be headed to Congress.

She has pledged to send "American Zionists" to internment camps, which she has described as a "processing center for pedophiles, which will probably be most of the Zionists." She has called for action against "Zionist billionaire Jews" that she claims control the world. These are not fringe comments dug up from years ago. This is who she is, and she is not backing down.

Republicans are weaponizing antisemitism as an electoral strategy in an effort to make her the nominee. They’ve calculated that an antisemitic candidate gives them a stronger chance of flipping this seat, and they’ve poured significant money into the race to support Maureen. In the process, they are fueling hate and amplifying her rhetoric.

This seat is absolutely winnable for Democrats in November, but only if Garcia makes it through Tuesday’s primary. If he doesn’t, we risk handing this seat to someone who has shown open contempt for our community, our values, and our safety.

Rep. Dan Goldman (NY-10)

Dan Goldman is one of the most important pro-Israel allies we have in Congress. He has shown up for JAC without fail, at our meetings, at our Washington policy conference, and on the House floor when it mattered most. He has not hedged. He has not wavered. When others sought to demonize our community, Dan stood with us.

Now he is in the fight of his political life. The primary is on June 23.

MAKE CALLS TO GET OUT THE VOTE FOR DAN & DONATE TO DAN.

His district has shifted dramatically. Zohran Mamdani carried it by nine points on an anti-Jewish message. Dan’s opponent, Brad Lander, is riding that current hard, publicly declaring that he regrets not doing more "to speak out against Israel's war crimes, against ethnic cleansing, against forced starvation of Palestinians." He is not hiding his views. He wants Dan's seat and intends to use it as an anti-Israel voice in Congress. Lander will vote against us every opportunity he gets.

If Dan loses on June 23, we lose a voice and a defender.

These races will determine whether antisemitism is rewarded and whether pro-Israel leadership is replaced. If we want pro-Israel champions in Congress tomorrow, we must fight today for Dan Goldman and Johnny Garcia. There isn't much time.

Elections have consequences.
