WHO WE ARE

Since 1981, JAC has supported thousands of candidates who’ve helped change the face of Congress.

A national organization with three separate entities, we are dedicated to supporting issues reflective of Jewish values. JAC was the country’s first national Jewish women’s PAC, and continues to maintain a strong reputation valued on Capitol Hill. As a trusted, respected resource, JAC aims to empower and engage all Americans who support our issues, and works to elect members of Congress committed to protecting them.

ELECT. ADVOCATE. EDUCATE.

JAC is comprised of three different organizations, all focused on giving Americans who share our values a voice in the political process:

JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE
FOR POLITICAL AFFAIRS

JACPAC is our national political action committee, dedicated to raising money to elect federal candidates who support our core issues. We provide well-researched information about Congressional candidates, upcoming elections and concerns crucial to our community. JACPAC also maintains ongoing dialogue with those it helps elect.

JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE (501c4)

Our nonpartisan advocacy group further promotes our core issues by facilitating community dialogue with elected officials. Participation includes trips to Washington, DC for legislative and policy briefings by high-level experts and private meetings with members of Congress.

JAC EDUCATION FOUNDATION (501c3)

Our tax-exempt organization is committed to educating and engaging the community in electoral politics and issues of Jewish concern. The foundation conducts voter registration drives, offers suggestions for advocacy and action, and publishes the nonpartisan Jewish Community Voter Guide, an informative resource containing voting records for all of Congress on our core issues.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

What we believe in defines who we are. For many years, JAC was the only organization in our country to advocate for a strong US-Israel relationship, women’s reproductive freedom, and a secular government. Today, we are at the forefront of the fight to protect these issues, and other areas of concern to the Jewish Community.
