WHAT'S ON OUR MIND

Guess What Time It Is?

May 4th, 2026

Welcome to May and our three IMPACT26 monthly races! These are top races where the margins are razor-thin, the stakes are enormous, and the outcomes will shape the future of our democracy.

As a federal PAC, JAC is limited in how much we can give directly to candidates. Through IMPACT26, we amplify your voice — pooling grassroots support to deliver meaningful, targeted contributions to candidates who share our core values. Together, we turn individual donations into real political power.

Meet Our May IMPACT26 Candidates:

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA)

Marie flipped this seat in 2022 by less than one percentage point, ending more than a decade of GOP control. This seat has been a top target ever since. She remains one of only 15 Democrats to win in a Trump-backed district, underscoring her strength and independence.

Marie, an owner of an auto repair shop and a working mom, brings real-world experience to Congress and has earned recognition as one of its most bipartisan members. She is a strong advocate for reproductive freedom, fighting to ensure access to critical care, including medication such as misoprostol.

Marie is exactly the kind of leader we need. We cannot afford to lose this seat.

Rep. Don Davis (NC)

Don Davis is defending one of the most vulnerable Democratic seats in the country. In a district Trump won by double digits, Don held on in 2024 by just 1.6 points, a testament to his strength and connection to his community.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Don is once again facing a well-funded opponent backed by Trump, who also has military experience. Redistricting has made this race even tougher. The Cook Political Report ranks Don as the most at-risk Democrat in the House.

With the recent SCOTUS decision, and our rights on the line, it more important than ever to make sure we keep this seat blue.

Dr. Annie Andrews (SC)

Dr. Annie Andrews is taking on Sen. Lindsey Graham in a race that could reshape the Senate. She is running against Sen. Lindsey Graham, who has consistently low approval ratings in South Carolina and faces persistent primary challenges from the right wing of his party. He has fallen out of favor with his voters because of his support for the war in Iran and his votes to end the ACA tax credits.

Annie, a pediatrician and mother, has dedicated her career to protecting children and supporting families. She has seen firsthand the consequences of politicians interfering in personal medical decisions, and she’s fighting to change that.

Recent polling shows a narrowing race, with voters signaling they’re ready for new leadership. As voter dissatisfaction grows, this seat is more competitive than it’s been in years. This is a real opportunity for a Senate pickup.
