Running for House
Primary Race Candidate:
While JAC does not get involved in primary races, this candidate shares our core beliefs.
Stefany Shaheen has worked as a healthcare advocate and entrepreneur, focusing on improving care access for patients with chronic illnesses. After her daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, she became active in healthcare innovation and founded or helped lead companies focused on improving clinical support systems for patients. She previously served on the Portsmouth City Council, where she worked on local infrastructure and community issues. She is now running for Congress in 2026 with a platform centered on healthcare affordability, economic opportunity, and cost-of-living concerns in New Hampshire.
"Thousands of Granite Staters and millions of Americans are getting hammered by Republicans who are using their power to drive up health care costs that are already way too high. "
