Roy Cooper

Roy Cooper is a father of three, an attorney, and a former governor of North Carolina. Cooper entered public service after being elected to the legislature, where he worked to raise teacher pay and strengthen law enforcement. After being elected Attorney General, Cooper prosecuted criminals and saw a drop in crime. As Governor, Cooper vetoed his state's extreme abortion ban. Then, after the legislature overrode his veto, he used his executive powers to protect individuals traveling to or from NC.
