Sen. Raphael Warnock is a Democratic United States Senator from Georgia. After earning degrees from Morehouse College and Union Theological Seminary, he entered the ministry and became senior pastor of Atlanta's historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in 2005. Warnock gained national prominence through his faith-based advocacy and was elected to the U.S. Senate in the January 2021 runoff election, becoming the first Black Democrat to represent Georgia in the Senate. He won a full six-year term in 2022.
