Rep. Sara Jacobs is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California. She was born in San Diego in 1989 and graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. and Master of International Affairs. Before Congress, she worked at the United Nations and UNICEF, served in roles at the U.S. State Department, worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, and founded a nonprofit focused on ending child poverty in San Diego. She was elected to Congress in 2020 and has served since 2021, where she has focused on foreign policy, social safety net expansion, and reproductive rights.
