Rep. Marilyn Strickland is a Democratic politician and former business executive serving as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 10th Congressional District. Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she built a career in business leadership before entering public service. Strickland served on the Tacoma City Council and later as Tacoma's mayor before being elected to Congress in 2020. In Congress, she has focused on infrastructure, military readiness, transportation, economic opportunity, and support for veterans and working families.
