Rep. Lois Frankel is a Democratic politician and attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 22nd Congressional District. After earning degrees from Boston University and Georgetown University Law Center, she practiced law and served as an assistant public defender. Frankel spent fourteen years in the Florida House of Representatives, including service as Minority Leader, before being elected Mayor of West Palm Beach in 2003. She was elected to Congress in 2012 and has focused on healthcare affordability, women's rights, economic opportunity, environmental protection, and support for seniors and families.
