Bobby Pulido is a lifelong South Texan, small-business owner, father of four, and award-winning Tejano musician who has spent nearly three decades using his voice to connect with communities across the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. Pulido studied political science at St. Mary’s University before launching a music career that made him one of the most recognizable names in Tejano music. He later became a small-business owner and returned his focus to his home community. Pulido is running for Congress as the Democratic nominee for Texas’s 15th Congressional District, arguing that South Texas deserves a representative who will put people ahead of party, lower everyday costs, support small businesses, improve health care, and represent the realities of border communities.
