Adrian Boafo is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing Prince George’s County and a candidate for Congress in Maryland’s 5th District. The son of Ghanaian immigrants, he grew up in Prince George’s County and earned degrees from the University of Baltimore and American University. His political career includes serving on the Bowie City Council, working as a campaign manager for Rep. Steny Hoyer, and joining the Maryland House in 2023. In the legislature, he serves on the Economic Matters Committee and has focused on issues including workers, education, affordability, and small businesses.
