JAC Statement on the Hostage Return
We recoiled in fear. We cried in pain. We mourned. We felt helpless. We fought. We used our voices when we couldn’t hear theirs. We waited and waited. And now we finally feel some joy.
The hostages are finally free, reunited with their families and friends in a world that has changed dramatically for the Jewish community since that fateful day more than two years ago. But one thing has stayed constant — our unwavering hope that this day would come.
These brave men and women embody the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people. Their courage and endurance serve as a shining beacon of hope, symbolizing that even in the face of unimaginable darkness, light and good will always shine through even if it takes days, months, and years.
We pray for their strength in the days ahead as they continue their long journey of healing. We will always stand with them. They will never be forgotten, nor will any of the other victims of this horrific massacre and war. May their memories be for a blessing.
There are still bodies of hostages that have yet to be returned. For those families, their anguish continues. We will not rest until “bring them home” becomes “we brought them all home.”

Something is Happening Out There

Something is shifting in the country. You can feel it in the air. Voters are tired of the GOP’s chaos, lies, and disregard for our democracy. They aren’t just getting frustrated. They are acting. The clearest way to say enough is enough is at the ballot box.
This week, in a deep-red Tennessee district, a Democrat came within striking distance of winning. A fluke? Hardly. It’s part of a bigger pattern. In special elections across the country, Democrats are outperforming their 2024 numbers leaving Republicans struggling to spin their way out of it.
Finally, we have reasons to lift our heads up and have HOPE. But hope alone won’t win back the House and Senate. We’re still 332 days out, and in politics, that’s an eternity. Anything can happen, as we have seen before.
The momentum we feel only matters if we can sustain it with work and dollars. Now is the time to double down (click here to support JAC). JAC candidates across the country are building the infrastructure needed to win -- and they will need our help.
Gerrymandering battles continue nationwide, creating new opportunities. We’re poised for gains in California and even Utah, where we will gain a blue seat. According to the Cook Political Report, 12 GOP House incumbents are in toss-up races compared to just six Democrats. This is all good news for us.
One thing is certain for 2026: elections will be costly. Dark money has significantly changed the landscape. JAC support for our candidates will be essential. Already, JAC has rushed money to our allies facing far-left challengers in their primaries. These are funds we hoped to allocate in the general election. But our friends who are solidly on our side need our help now. Can you help us refuel?
