JAC Statement on 2021 Iron Dome Funding

The passage today of legislation that authorizes the transfer of $1 billion to Israel to resupply its Iron Dome missile defense system signals the U.S. commitment to strengthening Israel’s defense and furthering the U.S.-Israel relationship.

We were very concerned that the funding was eliminated from the continuing budget resolution and was used as a political bargaining chip by a select group of Members of Congress. This is counterproductive to our strategic interest in the Mideast, as well.

JAC Statement on Susan Collins' Announcement on Kavanaugh

Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) betrayed women across the country today. We counted on her to be a voice of reason within her party. Her failure to do so will have a long-lasting impact on women's healthcare for generations to come. JAC will continue its mission to elect candidates that share our values for reproductive freedom. Today shows why voting in November is so critical. Elections have consequences.

JAC Statement on the Violence in Charlottesville - We Will Not Be Silent

"We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."

-- Elie Wiesel

For the last 30 years, JAC has been monitoring, raising awareness of, and fighting discrimination and hate groups. We have watched their resurgence and have continually spoken out against them.
