JACPAC welcomes 2013 President, Janna Berk

The Nominating Committee of JACPAC is proud to announce that Janna Berk has been chosen to succeed Gail Yamner as president of the organization.

Berk ascends to the presidency after 20 years of active membership, including Chicago Chapter Chair and JAC 2013 Luncheon Co-chair. She has been a strong advocate for our issues and has participated in many face to face meetings with elected officials. She is a leader in the Jewish community as: Member of JUF Women's board , Trustee of Jewish Women's Foundation and Trustee on the Board of Directors for North Shore Congregation Israel.
 
Marcia Balonick, Executive Director, said that she looks forward to working with Janna in her new role as President. "I am excited to work with Janna, as her passion and interest in the issues will serve JACPAC well. Her political knowledge and organization skills will make a smooth transition following the strong and consistent leadership of Gail Yamner."
 
Janna, graduate of University of Illinois, is married to Keith and has 3 children, Joey 21, David 19 and Annie 19.
