Israel is under threat, and more retaliation from Iran is inevitable. Fortunately, thanks to U.S. funding, the Iron Dome is ready. This life-saving defensive system has already intercepted early-morning missile attacks, and it will be critical in the days ahead. But not everyone supports this vital protection. Rep. Raúl Grijalva (AZ), a Squad-aligned member of Congress, voted against the Iron Dome. He consistently opposed the U.S.-Israel relationship and stood with voices that undermine it. Now, following his passing, his daughter Adelita is running to fill his seat in the July 15th special election. This is a safe blue district, so the primary is the election. Adelita has been endorsed by the Progressive Democrats of America Arizona, which demands the immediate end of all military shipments to Israel and calls Israel complacent in genocide. “We are so pleased to see that his daughter Adelita has chosen to continue her father's legacy and is running for his vacated seat.” Far-left, anti-Israel forces that supported her father have also endorsed her: Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT), Reps. Pramila Jayapal (WA), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), and others. Adelita called for a ceasefire just days after October 7th, with no mention of Hamas or the hostages. Daniel Hernandez is the leader we need. Young, fearless, and deeply committed to the U.S.-Israel relationship, Daniel has never wavered in the face of political pressure. As a state legislator, he stood up to the BDS movement — even when few others would. He understands the stakes for Israel and for American Jews right now. Rep. Ritchie Torres (NY), one of Congress's strongest pro-Israel voices, said: “Daniel Hernandez is the embodiment of the American dream… At a time when antisemitism is rising here at home and abroad, Daniel stands out as a steadfast ally of both the Jewish people and the Jewish State.
