JAC Annual Meeting Fly-in
Location: Washington, DC Time:  3:00 pm

JAC holds its annual conference in Washington, DC each spring and every JAC member is invited to attend and fully participate. The meeting consists of high-level issue briefings followed by visits to congressional offices.  Many organizations do an outstanding job of sending their members to meet with their own congressional delegations. JAC sends small groups to meet with members of Congress from the entire country, many of whom have few Jewish constituents and for whom JAC is an important resource and partner in dialogue.  Each group visits about 10 offices, reaching about 100 representatives and senators.

This is a boutique conference: purposely small, tightly programmed and targeted to the issues that are most relevant and compelling. It is an unparalleled experience in learning and advocacy that is personally fulfilling and significant in its impact. When we engage members of Congress in a dialogue, we convey a well-informed understanding and nuanced conception of what it means to be pro-Israel, pro-choice and pro-separation of religion and state.
